I'm going to dream about punching certain people in the face tonight
Yeah, just what I wanted to see after getting up to go to the bathroom at 1:15am: the front door, wide open, and nobody upstairs sober enough to a) be aware that the door was open and maybe that's not such a good thing, or b) understand me when I asked if someone was still coming back, or whether I could close the door.
This is like, the third time this week our housemates have brought people home after the bars closed. Normally, I wouldn't quite mind that, but I have a 9am class tomorrow, and I had planned to get up a little earlier in the morning, which of course might not exactly happen now. *sigh* I think we will all need to have a serious conversation about housemate etiquette tomorrow afternoon once everyone's back from class and sobered up.
I realize we're Erasmus students, and partying is what Erasmus students do, but JFC, a little notice would be nice - even a text on the way back from the bar, so those of us at home can, I dunno, put some pants on and mentally prepare ourselves. I went upstairs about an hour and a half ago to tell them off - basically, keep it down pls, or GTFO - and K, the problem roommate, was all "we have classes, too" at which point I just walked downstairs and slammed my door, because if I'm going to have a conversation about this with her, I need her to be sober and not showing off for her ~~friends.
I had hoped that her little misadventure a few weeks back would be enough to calm her down a bit (I didn't dream it would humble her, because I don't think there's anything capable of that), but I guess I was wrong. She's back to her spoiled, bullying brat ways, and quite frankly, I'm getting fed up with it, and if we're going to live here for another four months, it'd be nice to be able to coexist without wanting to kill her all the time.
