When he sets the tray on the counter, Alex gasps. There are chains wrapped around Titus' midsection, glowing red and burning their way into his skin. There is one wrapped around his neck, the skin underneath it blistered and blackened. She shakes her head and looks away, trying to ignore the cold sweat she feels herself breaking out in.
